COMPETITION FOR VISITORS ONLY

Men’s Better Ball Open
Thursday 29th June 2023 – £120.00 per pair

Sign-up opens on Monday 2nd January 2023. All Pairs must enter and pay online. ALL players CDH Numbers will be required at the time of booking.

Format:
• 18-hole Better Ball Stableford (play from the Yellow Tees)
• Playing Handicap Index Limit – 24 (competitors receive 85% allowance on the day)
• All Competitors must appear on the World Handicap System and have a valid CDH Number.
• Tee times from 09.30am – the field will be limited to 40 pairs
• Closing Date for Entries Thursday 15th June 2023

Itinerary
Registration from 08.30am

Breakfast – Rolling from 8.30am
Coffee & Bacon Baguette

Halfway Hut Refreshments
Hot and cold savoury & sweet nibbles

2 Course Carvery Lunch – Rolling from 2.00pm
Honey and mustard roasted gammon with parsley sauce
English Sirloin of beef with Yorkshire pudding

Selection of Dessert
Coffee and Mints

Smart casual attire (no jacket required) for the meal.


Prize Giving – Approx 3.00pm
First, Second and Third place pairs
Nearest the Pin on 4th & 16th Holes


Terms & conditions

Payment: To book a tee time on-line you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure online payment process. This is done by selecting which Open competition you wish to enter, and then select your desired starting block time. You will then be prompted to enter your details. All payments will be taken at the time the booking is made. All bookings made are fully transferable. Therefore, if you are unable to compete on the day in question, your Tee time for the competition may be offered by you to friends or family providing their golfing ability meets the criteria as defined for that competition. This information must be notified to the office when the change is made. No refunds will be given after closing date for entries.

Tee Time: You may select your tee time upon sign up – In the event the start sheet is not full, your time may be adjusted to suit the needs of the start sheet.

The Club's cancellation policies are: You can cancel your booking by calling the office on 01372 376 025. Cancellations must be made no later than 14 days prior to the competition day. Monies paid will be forfeited after this time.

Course Closed or Competition Cancelled: If the competition is cancelled at least one day prior to the scheduled date for the competition you will be given a full refund. If the competition is cancelled or abandoned on the scheduled date for the competition you may be entitled to a full or partial refund depending on circumstances.

Handicaps: Competitions are open to all amateur players who have a recognised CONGU handicap, with limits as defined on the entry details for any given competition.

Dress Code: The dress rules are as defined on the Club's website.
