PGA Head Professional Rob Humphrey and his team are based in The Professional Shop full-time to provide an extensive range of professional golf services and to ensure the smooth running of all golf operations.

The Professional Shop is open from 8am seven days a week and regardless of your golfing requirements the team here at Tyrrells Wood are committed to enhancing your golfing experience.

Coaching Services

Regardless of whether you are a complete novice or an advanced player, we aim to tailor instruction to meet your needs, make it informative and, most importantly, enjoyable.

Our instruction is truly personalised because we dont assume that everyone wants to get better for the same reasons. We take what youve got, listen to what you want and ensure no efforts are wasted in getting it.
Our coaching facilities are second to none - we have a beautifully manicured outdoor grass practice range.

TWGC Academy Membership

For adults, 'The Academy' at Tyrrells Wood is an instruction-based membership package which aims to provide potential new, and novice, golfers with the most comprehensive introduction to the game, whatever their age or experience.

Membership of The Academy runs for a period of 12 months at a cost of just £550 and provides members with extensive access to the golf course, free entry to roll-up competitions, instruction in the rules of golf and over eight hours of individual coaching with our team of PGA Professionals.

Society & Corporate Day Management

Our Manager of Golf and his team are on hand to help you with everything you require to make a success of your day. From meet and greet on arrival, assistance with the administration and management on the day, the provision of prizes and goody bags, to clinics and nearest the pin competitions on our state of the art golf simulator.
