COURSE INFORMATION


Local Rules

1.  OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 27)
(a)     Beyond the boundaries of the Course.
(b)     On or beyond the road crossing the Course from East to West.
(c)     The Car Park macadam surface and Clubhouse terrace.
(d)     The practice putting green, brick paths and the area between the Putting Green and the service road excluding the 1st Tee.
(e)     In or over the gravel ditch on the right of the 18th fairway.

2.   STAKED TREES
Are declared immovable obstructions and relief MUST be taken in accordance with Rule 24-2 if such a tree interferes with the player’s stance or area of intended swing.

3.   GROUND UNDER REPAIR (Rule 25)
(a)     All areas of bulbs in bud or flower.
(b)     The Bridle Path crossing the course.

4.  STONES IN BUNKERS are movable obstructions. Rule 24-1 applies.

5.   14th GREEN
If the line of putt of a ball lying on the green is interfered with by the drainage hole, the ball may be lifted, without penalty, and. placed at the nearest point to where it lay, not nearer the hole, which avoids the line interference.

6. SEEDED DIVOT HOLES
A ball coming to rest on a seeded divot hole MUST be lifted and dropped in accordance with the relief in Rule 25-1b (I) – G.U.R.

7.  FIXED SPRINKLER HEADS
All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under Rule 24-2. In addition, if such an obstruction on or within two club-lengths of the putting green of the hole being played intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may obtain relief, without penalty, as follows:–

    If the ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and is within two club-lengths of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which (a) is not nearer the hole, (b) avoids such intervention and (c) is not in a hazard or on a putting green.

8.  PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULE
Match Play - Loss of Hole
Stroke Play - Two Strokes
