TYRRELLS WOOD

GOLF CLUB

Dress Code

at Tyrrells Wood

At Tyrrells Wood Golf Club, we pride ourselves on providing members, guests and visitors with a comfortable environment to relax and enjoy their golf. In order to achieve this, we offer the following brief guidelines:

Golf Course

Recognised smart golfing apparel only should be worn. Trousers and shorts must be tailored. Hats should be worn as designed. Men are requested to tuck polo shirts in. Ladies shirts may be un-tucked if designed to do so. Please contact the Professional Shop for any clarification.

Clubhouse

We would like our members and guests to feel comfortable at our Club and to be able to enjoy our Clubhouse at ease, so we ask that members and visitors dress in smart, clean clothing. Smart jeans may be worn. Golf shoes may be worn in the 19th hole bar which is the area for anyone wearing muddy or wet clothing. Golf shoes are not allowed in the Eddie Ward, James Braid, or Keswick Rooms. We ask that hats, caps and visors are removed before using the Clubhouse. For certain events throughout the year a more formal dress code may be required.

Mobile Telephones and other devices

Telephone calls should only be made in the front lobby or outside the Clubhouse. Mobile devices may be used in the Clubhouse lounge and bar areas but must remain on silent. Mobile telephones may only be used on the golf course provided they are kept on silent and used only in an emergency.

Guests

Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests are aware of and observe the dress code when visiting the Club.

In the case of any uncertainty, please consult any member of the Club’s management team.
