The Twelfth is the
second Par 5 on the course measuring 525 yards off
the White Tee. The fairway curves from right to
left and the ground slopes the same way to an
out-of-bounds Mill Way road, the side of which is
bordered by line of large Beech interspersed with
newer plantings. The first two shots need to be
kept to the right , but not too far so, while the
shot to the two-tier green needs to be very
accurate. A weak shot to the green, built close to
the road, can be punished by landing in a deep
bunker at the front left. Drifting off line to the
right or over-hitting the green will land you in
heavily wooded areas.
Pro's
Tip
Our longest hole and a definite
three-shotter. The green
area provides the biggest challenge with a deep bunker to
the left guarding a narrow two-tiered green.
Par is an excellent score with
out-of-bounds lurking all along the left. |
